Your Edges Shouldn’t Suffer—My Gym Bag Essentials (And Why It Matters)

Hot girl summer is around the corner depending on what hemisphere you're living in. Which means, it's travel season.

There was a time when traveling meant I left my wellness habits behind. I’d pack the cute outfits and the skincare—but the things that actually made me feel good? Those didn’t always make the cut.

Now, I’ve learned to make space for the habits and tools that keep me grounded. Not in a “perfect routine” kind of way, but in a “this helps me feel like myself” kind of way.

Let’s talk gym bag.

I always pack a gym hair wrap—nothing fancy, but it saves my edges. Especially when I’m working out or walking in heat and humidity. The one I’ve been loving is by Nicole Ari Parker, it looks good and keeps my hair in place while I sweat. It’s one of those little things that makes me feel put together without trying.

I also keep single-serving creatine packs (20% off use code TIFFANYLUMPKIN) in my bag. They’re easy to throw into my water bottle—no scoops, no mess. I started taking creatine for strength training, but what surprised me most was the boost in my energy, focus, and even my recovery. On travel days or heavy filming weeks, it helps me feel more balanced and mentally sharp.

And then there’s my Oura Ring. After a full year of wearing it, I can honestly say it’s helped me understand my body on a deeper level. From tracking sleep to recovery, it’s taught me when to push and when to pause. And because it actually looks good, I wear it all day—even with my more polished travel looks.

Right now, one of my personal goals is working on flexibility—especially in my hips. Travel can tighten you up, and I’ve learned that a quick stretch session in the morning makes a big difference. Just 10 minutes on the hotel floor helps me move through the day feeling better, more open, and more present.

So no, my gym bag isn’t packed to the brim. But what’s in it? It matters.
It’s not just about routines. It’s about rituals that travel with me.

Your big (or lil) sis,

Tiff

P.S. Until then, give yourself permission to create your own version of wellness—wherever you are. And don’t forget to reserve YOUR spot in Costa Rica for Ember & Tide 2026.
