It's worth mentioning that Europe and Asia are pretty advanced when it comes to sunscreen formulations. The last time the U.S. FDA made significant updates to its sunscreen regulations was in 2011. This means many innovative ingredients used in European and Asian products are not yet available in the U.S. market. The FDA continues to review and approve new ingredients, but the process is often slower than in other regions.
